The other pop girls from the 60’s- early 10’s are considered iconic, but what about Lana?

Like if even Ariana is considered an icon, then Lana must be one to then right?

BTD is the second longest charting album by a female on the Billboard top 200 (second to 21 by Adele), so she clearly has had an impact on music and pop culture as a whole. She also started the  tumblr indie/alt wave that was ridden by Lorde, Halsey, Troye Sivan, Melanie Martiniez, Borns, Billie, etc. I feel like she's still too early in her career to be labeled an icon, but if she keeps it up for a few more years then yes I definitely think she can be classified as an icon.

I mean everyone knows her... maybe not for the best reasons  :green:

But she's very iconic more towards the alternative crowd. Ariana, as I hate to say it, is infact iconic as well, but maybe not as iconic as let's say Taylor Swift or Gaga, but they're all iconic in their own way no matter what scale.

BTD the album is iconic. but i wouldn't say that anything she's done after that (except for Young and Beautiful) is worth of that definition.
