Let me list some things about Dan that might help my case. With receipts. 1. He is an extremely active and vocal LGBT ally. Spoiler 2. He is struggling with chronic inflammation and pain. Spoiler Spoiler 3. He is heavily influenced by his conflicting religious background. Spoiler 4. He is very open about his struggle with mental health and his fight for a kinder world. Spoiler 5. He is a passionate and driven songwriter and producer. Spoiler 6. He likes blending genres and doesn't want to be put in a box. Spoiler Spoiler 7. Despite his calm and down-to-earth personality, he's a passionate and explosive performer. Spoiler A few cherries on top: - The most common themes of his songs include religion, fame, family, identity and empowerment. - This is the most "ARTPOP" music video that I know. - Dan studied acting when he was young, and is now in talks with studios to pick it up again. - Gaga's relationship with her father is a recurring musical theme. For Dan, it's his mother (for example: I Bet My Life, Amsterdam) - Both are close to Justin Trantor (Semi-Precious Weapons) - Although definitely not as refined as Gaga, he's a talented vocalist.
