The last thing I would describe it as would be cringe. I mean her dad had to leave the room bc if the song and her grandmother was obviously touched and could see how Gaga was affected as well. GagaUnderYou 4,994
Joe was raving about “Burqa” before ARTPOP came out with fans on the street. I’m sure they like her music to some degree and know at the end of the day it’s just the entertainment business. I’m sure her parents are into more classic rock like Bruce Springsteen, Elton, etc which kind of influenced Gaga’s music. Also, monsters found Gaga’s not famous cousins Facebook page, and under her likes she had “ARTPOP”, “Joanne” etc. So I’m sure they support her, I’m sure her parents wont tell her straight up “I hate this song”, it’s kind of like being little and bringing an amateur painting for your mom to put on the fridge. Gaga’s music is her art. With the Oprah interview, Cynthia goes into a bit more detail and doesn’t seem to be that shocked when Oprah shows Gaga and her photos from career. I’m sure they’re also aware of the “persona” that “Lady Gaga” is, despite Gaga saying this was really her earlier in her career.

First time I was like "oh, this is emotional" but next time I couldn't help but think that her dad was actually upset because of the camera recording during a very private moment. Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch, just drink my ****ing coffee and watch 90's cartoons and hush
Oriane 21,176
I'm sure his dad isn't really a fan and prefers classic rock music anyway. But I'm sure he loved Joanne and was very touched by it. mauvais 0
It’s clear they love her and her music. Remember that video Natali filmed of Gaga dancing to her own music and they start laughing when she flashes her boobs and her mom gives her the little xmas tree to use as a mic? I always imagined that’s how their house was 24/7.
