What made you stan Lady Gaga?

Sometimes  I find it curious when people say they started to stan Gaga during ARTPOP or Cheek To Cheek when she wasn't the most popular artist. So what it your story?

I knew her from Poker Face, but it was when I first saw the Paparazzi video that I started to stan her: the song, the visuals, it was all amazing

There's was this article about her VMA performance and that it looks like Gaga and then her comment about Gaga so I was like who tf is Gaga is why she's bothering my fave?

so I listened to PF, I liked it and then to JD, hated it at first, now I like it and then Paparazzi came out and I was a fan since then.

i first knew her with poker face on mtv but didn't find her appealing during that time until isaw paparazzi on the vmas and i thought she was an incredible artist, also i started listening to her singles a lot more

but then a year after i remember hearing dance in the dark and omg  i was breathless, i heard tf and tfm in full and started to stan

I’ve always been checking on her but when I truly started stanning her was during ARTPOP, I was obsessed with the lore and leaks when it came to ARTPOP Act 2 and I thought the concepts and ideas for the era were absolutely genius it’s a travesty that they never came to fruition it would’ve been her best era by far when I first heard Venus I said, oh wow, this rah rah b**ch might be on to something and BOOM, a Stan Was Born

Back when she released The Fame. I found her through the front page of YouTube for Just Dance, and when my friend found Poker Face I was instantly obsessed I went out and bought her album. I've been following every since.

I think when I saw her perform Pokerface on American Idol in 2009, I was like blown away. She was a pop singer, with talent and she was weird? HELL YAH! 

But that was just the start. When she released The Fame Monster and I heard Telephone and Alejandro, even before they were singles, I fell in love and I knew she was special.

Fast forward to 2010 VMAs when she wore the meat dress and told the world her next record would be called Born This Way, I became a stan because I liked how wild she was + I was questioning my sexuality then I needed her to help me cope with that confusing time.
