Sorry. I'm just stressed about how fans have to comment on how Gaga shouldn't make a beauty line or something, sometimes even discrediting her. It didn't help that I have a fever right now lol.:saladga:

Again, I'm really sorry. I'm not looking for a fight or anything. I'm just stressed out today, that's that's all.

It's all good. :)

Rest, eat some soup. I hope you feel better soon.

still wild to me that people gave/give her sh*t for that. im a singer songwriter and some of my best work has come from writing to track. sometimes you just need the push of a pre-existing track. you can't always just CREATE the entire song and it's production perfectly in your head. that's why when you're in the studio and working with a producer  - things can change. i think it's silly and outdated to believe it's inauthentic or any less valuable to have production come before lyrics.

It's not as powerful to just write lyrics that fits the sound. It should never be done first.

I mean I thought it was pretty obvious what parts of the song Gaga did write. The piano stands out a lot in Haus labs that’s the part I assumed Gaga made. I can also hear the parts boys noize made because his sounds is familiar. The rest I have no idea including this sampled part. If this is even a new song to begin with. Or just a Commercial  song.

I don't believe this at all. Music doesn't have to be lyrics then production. Sometimes a beat can inspire you to write lyrics or vice versa.

Ofc music doesn't have to be lyrics then production. Cleary. We saw that on ARTPOP. I'm only saying that it's harder to have artistic freedom when it comes to writing when you need to write something that goes well with the beat. I agree.. One sample is okay but to write whole song over whole instumental - it's just not it.

So people sample other artists’ work. What about it.

Lets not pretend that Beyonce didn’t just take Major Lazer’s tracks and slap lyrics on top of them.

No wonder Gaga seems frustrated with social media and rarely interacts with fans on it anymore—no other fan base does this cr*p. Perhaps I'm wrong, but Gaga's never been sued for infringement unlike several other big names—and yet y'all act like she's not only a thief, but the biggest thief around.

A) Big stan twitter accounts need to stop tweeting opinion as fact. It sounds very similar to me, but we have no idea if it's the same song.

B) If it's a sample, so what? Everyone does it from Diplo to Mark to Beyonce. But the tweet makes it sound like Gaga straight up stole something instead of using a sample. For example, the twitter account didn't put out "sounds like Gaga's music from Haus Labs sampled this song."

Did You and I really sample We Will Roock You? It's just a similar beat, I don't think it's a sample... Unless she said it?

It’s in the book that came with the CD

Do you guys have a meltdown over almost every Hip hop song, Hung Up, Poker Face, Venus?

It's so weird—it's like some fans on here always want to think the worst of Gaga. I don't think Gaga's above criticism, but this...???

And I may be wrong, but as I said above—Gaga's never been sued for infringement unlike several big names. Which indicates that she a) probably credits/pays people when she uses samples, etc. and b) she knows when music doesn't need to be credited even if it's very similar.
