It's always about a boyfriend, who left her or something like that. Plus, it's a stand alone or a new lead ? She released song after song without meaning. Sis LET US BREATH. I think, after the success of TUN (the album), Ariana just got a bit too greedy. First there was that terrible Monopoly song, then rumours that she was working on yet more new music and now this. She's oversaturating herself and it's already annoying people to the nth degree. Social House has worked with her before along with JLo. They just released their own music this year. She's explained before that she didn't want to succumb to the pressure pop girls face, and that if the rap guys can drop single after single after single, she can too. It's working for her, and clearly listeners and fans are enjoying it, as marked by the massive success of her recent released. Also, if you think Thank U, Next has no meaning, when it addresses a failed engagement, the death of a loved one, and coping with daddy issues, then it's clear that you haven't felt the profound emotion of these life experiences.
