Hybrid AT 78
Strong night for Pete. Proud to support him. He definitely made his case. Warren, Bernie, and Williamson (!) stole the show tonight. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Did he perform better than last time? “Better” is a massive understatement. He basically ran away with the whole thing. So many great moments. He didn’t hold back at all. Several of the nobody candidates went after him (after being prompted by CNN) and his responses were hilarious. He even called CNN out when they were trashing leftist policy and defending the private healthcare industry (he made a point to acknowledge the fact that they were going to be running ads for massive healthcare corporations during the commercial breaks and, of course, they actually played a few). The debate was essentially a referendum on his platform. Every question pertained to some aspect of what he’s brought into the mainstream over the last few years. Much of it was framed negatively by CNN and he and Warren called them and the other candidates out for repeating Republican talking points. The fact that they were dealing with questions with that sort of framing and blew past everyone else anyway was incredible. Basically: it was the Bernie we want to see. Passionately making the case for marginalized and impoverished people, fighting corporate greed, and smacking down anyone that tried to get a dig in at him. He needs to bring this to every debate going forward because it was so much fun. It turned into a #Sanders/Warren2020 ad by the end. They both crushed it. It really shows that there's an agenda of some sort since so many questions were directed at him. I can't think of anyone less electable since he's so forgettable lol OT Marianne having the most applause of the night multiple times gagged me. She's such a wine mom who daylights on the PTA; I love it.
