Disney Channel’s ‘Andi Mack’ has first gay couple + cast sings BTW

TJ and Cyrus, 2 characters from Disney Channel’s Andi Mack just got together in the series finale. This is DC’s first main gay couple. They have had chemistry since Season 2 so it’s so fun to see. Also, the whole cast sang Born This Way in the finale! I can’t find a video of them singing it but the episode is available now to watch so u can see it there. Watch this episode tonight on Disney Channel at 8PM EST.

This show is amazing for the Disney Channel. It shows topics like teen pregnancy, military families, dis functional families, homophobia, racism, sexism, gun safety, and stereotypes + It has good Jewish and Asian representation.

UGH I know it’s so frustrating. We didn’t even get to see them as boyfriends after this. Like they don’t renew this but they renew Bunk’d which teaches kids....canoeing???? Make it make sense Disney.

i love this, i hope this helps bring up positive conversations between parents and their kids, if the kids would like to have this explained.

on a side-note, i never understood how people complain LGBT representation can “influence kids to be gay,” but LGBT kids see straight representation 99% of the time and the argument that they were “influenced to be straight” never pops up. sounds like some bs, karen

I thought it was cancelled after S3, not Bunk'd out of everything getting renewed

Bunk’d was canceled but then they decided to renew it because of its “success” even tho Andi Mack is the most viewed show on the channel rn.

Yeah I actually thought Bunk'd lost hype after like the 2nd season
