$16 is probably higher average for a lip gloss, I think? It’s definitely higher than any drugstore brand. I’d say it fits most Sephora prices.  Sounds like it’ll be a prestigious brand but also quite affordable which she’ll be praised for. $49 is a bit more expensive but we haven’t seen it yet.
