Songs can make a concrete impact on your life. So, which songs you used to listen a lot but, now for a certain memory you can't listen to that anymore?

As I have shared multiple times, I went to US last fall as an exchange student.  I knew it was a four month program, and I have to return - but,  I fell love with a guy in first month. I clearly remember, the last days in the US, I used to listen Ariana Grande's 'Breathin' and even the last time I say good bye to him ( I don't know if I will be able to see him in future or not) the song made an impact in my life.

I can not listen to Breathing anymore. It reminds me of him, states and the grotesque memory of returning to my country.

You know, Mines not that serious but I used to love ‘Stone Cold’ by Demi Lovato and after watching that TERRIBLE James Charles performance I can’t even listen to the first 10 seconds of the song without feeling uncomfortable, I had to delete it off my iTunes:laughga:

thinkin bout you - frank ocean.

As much as I love the song, it always reminds me of my ex. He used to play it in his car all the time and I remember how he'd always gently push my hair behind my ear and give me this look...too many feelings.

Ï could be your girlfriend for the weekend...

"I Deserve It" by Madonna was literally played all throughout my childhood, and I played it for my best friend one time and she said the synthesizers remind her of a dentist drill and now that's all I think about

A lot of Azealia Banks’ songs because I can’t get her drama and some of the bad things she’s said out of my head :rip:

Two Weeks by FKA Twigs (reminds me an abusive partner), which is too bad because that song is lush and it was the song that made me fall in love with her music :ohno:

Slightly related, I also can’t watch Drag Race or Chris Fleming videos anymore because I associate them with shitty friends that I used to talk to about these things in great length.

Joanne. Even though I love it. Because the words really hit me hard during a sad moment in my life, and that song still reminds me of it. :(
