I do agree that Ana and Meghan represent the "older" Republican part, pre-Trump, because they've said that multiple times, but that doesn't mean that they're not a "real Republican". The Democratic party last election is completely different from what it is today judging by the last debates. I agree they are all "real republican" but what I meant is it would be interesting having a republican on the show that represent the republican party today. Yes they are a liberal show but remember how Elizabeth was on that show and she strongly defended Bush? I hate Elizabeth and the republican party but it would be interesting to see that on the show. We’re talking about ABC here. Not Fox News. I wouldn’t want to hear a big headed Trump Supporter arguing with Whoopie everyday. Trump supporters seem to be on the negative side of every topic. A trump supporter on the view would literally disagree with anything the other hosts say just because they feel the need to oppose the left. They would throw common sense out the ****ing window just to make other Reps believe that they uphold “American, traditional, conservative” values. But if you want to do that, then the democratic party support illegal wars on Muslims and South America which is bigoted. The democratic party that supported an anti Gay president Obama are also bigots. Supporting jailing journalists and transgender chelsea manning is also bigoted. An effective defender of Trumps policies would have to be a bigot. Not saying all of them are bigots but the ones who aren’t tend not to be very informed or have to disavow so much of his agenda that you’ll essentially have another Meghan McCain. Jedediah Bila was a great panelist, for instance, because she was informed and respectful, she added to the conversation. Meghan keeps saying - on the show and social media - that she is vilified for her political views. But, no, that's not the reason. She is petulant, defensive, narcissistic, and makes everything about her. She called someone a snowflake during one of the topics, and I thought that was extremely ironic. The View often discusses political agendas and events happening in our country that even CNN won't cover because of the controversy surrounding them. "Hypocrites"? What are they hypocritical about? Don't support Trump enough? Do you really expect a show led by women to try to appeal to alt-right audiences?
