dude wtf really .what i meant was instead of congratulate an artist for finally supporting a common cause you guys find a way to twist it and hate the artist and no why would i think she is the 2nd coming or whatever wtf. she only made a music video . i,m just applauding someone for finally changing their own views but if that how you want to perceive it then sure why not

but i know gaga has done pretty amazing things and stood up with gay rights from the start of her career and i would forever stan her for it but how would you explain someone if someone accuse gaga of playing this as a card. i love gaga and we always love her for supporting the stance of gay rights but lets not act like we all know which artist is sincere or not

again as many above explain its is all the power or simple PR marketing for any artist so again you cant really judge a book by its cover can now and again i,m not disrespecting gaga or shading her but i,m just saying of what is your "mob man considered mindsed" and blindly belief or who right or who is wrong and i get it you don;t like taylor swift its okay

When an artist comes out the gate celebrating gay culture, establishes a foundation, writes explicitly gay music at the height of her career, and continues to support the community that’s genuine.

When you have a history of pandering, manipulating people, and making decisions based on money and public image people tend to question the motives. It’s that simple,

I’m not understanding your point at all and I especially don’t understand why you are going so hard for this woman who hasn’t earned our support and has a horrible track record. I’m offended that you would even compare the two and down play Gaga’s sincerity and contribution. I’m not responding to anything else you say.

I don't want to take sides since I didn't do my research and I don't think I even will. This drama could have been easily solved in private.

It needs to be resolved in public for the greater good of the music industry and young artists who dream of having a music career. Secrecy is a corporation’s most powerful weapon.

ok so far your points are pretty much valid

but i do wonder how does everyone here and among fan would react when gaga would be (hopefully not) put under the same situation :oprah:

Probably I will be angry. But i'm not going to bully that person for a mistake that Lady Gaga did.

The exact same people writing essays about this situation would absolutely be upset :laughga: I agree, it would be incredibly hypocritical. Especially since we know Gaga signed her contract at an especially young age. She did re-negotiate back in 2016, but we don't know  anything about the contingencies surrounding that deal.

And I would like to add that musicians feeling scammed out  of their art is not a new concept at all. And it almost always ends unfairly to the artist. You don't have to like Swift, but you can't lack at least some sympathy for this kind of situation and be upset about others. Yes she signed the contract, but she was also 15.

Bingo. This will likely happen to Gaga some day. Her masters will go on sale and either she or someone else will buy them. Imagine if it was her rapist or Troy Carter who bought her master recordings? Gaga and the fan base would flip their sh¡t, especially since fans are dying for unreleased music. If that day ever comes, these people better apply the same standard to her and not just Taylor. If people are acting all “too bad, Taylor’s loss” then they better be ready to say the same thing about Gaga’s misfortune if it ever happens.

That's not only what I think, that's what the situation really is. And when I say "we", I'm basically saying feminists and gays. We're men. We're gays but we're also men. Some gays act like they owe women something, like women always support us, when we know there are as many homophobic women out there as men.

Because we kind of do. :awkney: Straight women have been our strongest allies throughout the years. Yes, there are plenty of homophobic women out there (mainly religious women), but hunty, we gay bois need the straight girls more than the straight girls will ever need us. And by the way, lots of gay men are sexist pieces of sh*t and treat lesbians horribly.

It's hard to say who's right, both sides have their ups and downs. But it is very suspicious that all this comes about when Taylor's got a new single out and an album due next month. Which is also fuelled all the more by the fact that her new material isn't going to #1 or has been as beloved as previous work. It's funny how, for the last few albums, she always has some kinda ongoing drama going on with fellow celebrities, providing plenty of publicity for her release week. I'm getting really tired of the clear attempts to play the victim, it's beyond me how her fans constantly blindly follow her, can they not see a pattern? She even addressed it in Look What You Made Me Do - "there she goes, playing the victim, again." If she acknowledges it, it must be true. Drama follows this girl, I think she courts it as a technique to win sympathy as she always twists it to work in her favour. To keep framing every disagreement she has with a man as sexism is really damning to the cause and doesn't make her look as strong as she thinks. A feminist would just accept the situation without always bringing gender into it. Let's not pretend that men don't do bad stuff to other men as well. The music industry tries to screw over everyone, women are no better or worse off when it comes to owning their masters.

Delusional Aura

your opinion is so blatantly false OP @pedrohemg :ladyhaha:, without Taylor's masters, Big Machine isn't worth crap in a sale. I'm 100% sure that in order for the CEO to get that deal, Taylor's master was a defining factor hence the reason why she wasn't given the opportunity to buy. Instead she had to produce six more albums under Big Machine to get the masters for the six she already released. What does this mean, it means the CEO would have been able to sell the record label and Taylor to scooter for even more money.

Taylor Swift needs to stop playing the victim card and painting herself into these narratives. She has you all feeling sorry for her while she wipes her tears with hundred dollar bills and schemes and plots.

She supposedly knew beforehand and if she had already made the decision to leave her music behind when she left the label like she said, why do you all feel bad for her?

She never once played the victim in this situation. She spoke up about her feelings but i guess anytime someone talks about their feelings, they're playing the victim. What they did was shady and she spoke up about not being the same opportunity to BUY. What about that don't you understand?

Oh ik she should have just shut up about it and not speak out about her life's work being sold to someone when shes didn't even had the chance to compete for it. And your whole ideology about she knew before hand, she knew there was a meeting about Big Machine with her father in which he declined to go to because he didn't want to hide anything from her because you know there's something call NDA's. Even if she did find out on the 25th of June 2019 (this date is when Scott, CEO of Big Machine said all shareholders found out about the sale), what could have Taylor done in five days fool? Acquisitions takes months of negotiations especially when it's a 300M deal. Scott and Scooter had it all planned out. They did her dirty, she spoke up about not getting to opportunity to BUY and she sure as hell did not play the victim.  :bye:

is OP paid by 🛴 ‘s  team to clean up his name?

First pretending to be objective, “knowing how music business works”; then posting with clear aversion towards Taylor and suspicious links, which could be viruses, for all we know.

This could’ve been discussed in any other related thread, out of recent 50, but it was clearly important to have this title separated and bumped with every reply.

so much for claiming himself to be fair and objective :queenga:

LMFO what kinda of joke is this? Can't you guys stand different opinions? If I had created a thread defending Taylor, would you guys say such nonsense things? This is ridiculous. I'm really tired of this "men hating" thing in our community. So, I can't defend Scooter because I truly believe hid did nothing wrong. If I'm gay, on a gay website, I'm must spread hate against men, no matter what. NO, I will not do this. Please @Haroon don't take their opinions into account, because that doens't make any sense.
