Can LG6 save female pop in 2019?

After the monumental success of ASIB, do you think that there is now a lot of expectation for Gaga to deliver with LG6? Nearly every female icon who has released this year has met mediocre to disappointing results. Katy, Pink, Miley, Lana and even Taylor have been met with indifference or disappointing results. Even Madame X while critically appraised  is the first Madonna album to not have a hot 100 hit. So can gaga break the mould? I'm hoping after playing it relatively safe with Joanne, she gives us something unexpected, although I am secretly hoping for an album of bangers.

I think im about to get banned but thats off topic

ASIB brought her alot of success, and everyone was watching her, so she has a chance

But, its looking to be EDM, or something crazy, and the GP got used to ASIB and a more toned down side to gaga, so they may not react kindly

also I don't think Taylor is having a bad year, she didn't have any no. 1 songs, but she had 2 very high charting ones so far

Lets do it baby I know the Law

I would indeed hope so. It was confirmed she was going back to her pop roots for LG6 so I’m hoping for some bangers!

PopGa come back into full phase:pray:

Gaga was the trendsetter now she's in very safe GP territory. She'll sell well and her tours are always successful. In music, being very good and/or diverse in many genres will keep you in the game but it has nowhere near the impact as being great at one thing. I can't really pick that one thing for Gaga

This is what concerns me a bit. I mean, ASIB was this gens Bodyguard. The casuals have LOVED that album and it's brought a lot of people back into the fold. Strategically Gaga may not want to alienate these people again. Eitherway, I am looking forward to the return of dancega.

girl what is with this OP, most of those people didn’t even flop. taylor had 2 #2 hits in a row blocked by one of the biggest hits in years, katy’s actually doing pretty good with NRO, miley is having success with Ashley O, Pink just had her album debut at number 1 as did Madame X. i guess Lana might be true but from what i’ve heard about her she doesn’t really care too much about chart success.
