Please keep any negativity and 'shade' out of this thread. I am looking for a proper discussion, instead of whining and/or unproductive criticism.

Thanks.

Didn't Bill Clinton already do that?

And it's a bit pathetic to post a news article of an openly transphobic and racist politician and call any criticism of that 'whining'. You know what you're doing

Bill Clinton went to North Korea, but after his presidency, to save two journalists who had been imprisoned.

My point is that he is the U.S president. There is nothing anybody can reall do about it. I'm looking for a thread with proper discourse, or to let everyone be aware of what's happening right now.

I dont want to be creating a thread for people to attack and full of comments that are unproductive and unhelpful.

I dont really think its pathetic at all to want to set aside differences to be able to discuss about current global news.

Look at the unproductive comment of the second poster. Just wasting space for actual proper discussions about serious  and world news. It's irritating and not funny. Not one bit. There is a proper way to express criticism, and certainly the second post is a prime example of how it shouldn't be done. It's very childish.

I understand plenty of people dislike the current president, myself included, but comments like that  is unproductive for all of us.

Thanks.

You’re on the wrong site if you think people are going to have mature responses with collected thoughts. Nothing but dramatic replies and overreacting.

Anyway however you look at this, its good that we are trying to calm the tensions between our 2 countries. Hopefully peace can eventually come from this
