Spoiler Also, I know that this isn't a 'rumour' as such... but there's no other appropriate tag, so I had to go with it lmao. So, yesterday I used the SiriusXM contact system to confirm that there will be no live-stream of last night's Apollo performance. I also, without posting it on here (to avoid a meltdown), spoke to the assistant about a new Lady Gaga single premiering on SiriusXM this Friday. For reference, click here, here and here for snippets of this conversation. I believe this assistant was confused and thought that Gaga would be performing the single at the Apollo, which she obviously didn't. But... This morning, I decided to contact SiriusXM again to be sure that yesterday's assistant wasn't just confused or mistaken regarding a new single, as I had suspected. Here is my full and much more coherent conversation with this representative: (pre-warning: to avoid any confusion, I was very, *very* repetitive, persistent and irritating with this patient assistant...) *conversation flows from left image to right image, then repeated below... not from up and down* Spoiler So, as you can see from those screen caps, I pretty much covered every base and had multiple confirmations of the same point to be absolutely sure that she wasn't confused in any way. But she *still* confirmed a new single for Friday. And in terms of the single only being confirmed last night to their team, this would maybe explain the confusion within my first conversation. Perhaps the assistant's confusion is what led to further clarification... I don't know. But it's pretty odd that the second assistant confirmed to me that a single was only discussed last night, after my first conversation. Anyway, this most likely means absolutely nothing - and I'm not pretending that it does. But, I do think it's quite strange as to why these people would lie? And they certainly can't be confused with all the clarifications I requested. I mean, the second assistant was really quite consistent and clear: a new single is being released on Friday, a completely new and separate song from the Apollo stream. Spoiler *IF* this is true, I cannot fathom why this assistant provided me with all this information. I mean, even if it's all incorrect - why they're being so open about a possible single release really threw me... but whatever. But also, in terms of this being super unlikely, Gaga information has been leaked before in really basic, unexpected ways. We've had leaks from website codes, early store releases and the infamous Amazon Alexa glitch. Maybe it's not *too* unbelievable that a naive customer assistant could spill something mistakenly, I don't know. I absolutely did not. I decided to block the assistant names because I was worried that, in my attempt of gaining information and sharing it, I could cost someone their job - which would be truly awful.
