Ok you just named many of my favorite songs of hers but only G.U.Y. has halfway decent choreo (I'm talking the hand-on-hip-side-dip action :huntyga:) but other than that, his choreos are strange, awkward, and just very random.

BK really SERVED choreo and I find it a lot more visually pleasing. The older choreos like Judas, BTW, BR, etc are BK and something about the shapes their body makes and repetitive motions make them so memorable. And they incorporate lyrics or meaning of the songs. Richy on the other hand...

I seem to really enjoy the choreography to Applause, John Wayne, ScheiBe (it's acclaimed by fans don't come for this song) and Marry the Night.

These are just the uptempo songs. I also loved The Cure, Aura and many of the improvements he made for the Enigma songs.

I can see this too. For me personally, I would much rather have the vocal, so the dancing doesn’t really bother me as much as others. I was legit devastated having to sell my jazz and piano tickets because it conflicted with school. Its my dream to see a Gaga show like that. I don’t need the dancing.

I mean I dk. I actually attended Enigma without knowing a single thing, that includes the choreography. I was really impressed by her dancing and the adjustments they made to the older songs.

I remember walking out of the theatre telling my mother, who went with me, 'Did Lady Gaga's dancing just improve considerably?' I mean I dk, maybe it was just the shock of witnessing new choreography for the first time, in person, the experience definitely was better than those of you who attended the show but had already seen videos on the Internet.

Also us as fans, we watch like millions of her videos all the time, so we're kinda familiar with each and every move. If you put in the element of not knowing what she's gonna do next, the choreography can actually shock and surprise, in a good way.

Just my two cents.

eh choreography is so passe honestly. at least the kind laurianne does, its so outdated. if gaga worked with whomever fka twigs works with (which would be a bit of a stretch considering she comes from an actual dance background) it would feel more modern at least and more interpretive.

Although I would love to have BoomKack as Gaga's choreographer again, I feel that what she said about Gaga has permanently created a rift between them, so even if they were to get back together as business partners the emotional scars would still be there. I wonder if they dated? Anyways, it's time to move on to someone new in my opinion. And that someone is Gaga's former backup dancer, Mark Kanemura. He is extremely sexy, talented, creative, and dynamic, and he offers a lot of the same qualities in his choreography that BoomKack does.

I would literally kill to have her bring in Mark Kanemura as a new creative assistant and choreographer. His work on SYTYCD is incredible and they really are a perfect fit together.

YAAAAAAS! Mark is amazing! Just look at some of his choreographies:

SO FABULOUS. SO GAY. SO EXTRA. SO SEXY. SO WILD!  Mark would be PERFECT for Gaga!

Can we leave Laurieann AND Richy in the past and hire someone new please? :awkney:

It's Mark Kanemura, honey. :vegas:

Oh god no. She is a horrible person through and through regardless of her behavior towards Gaga.

Stay away from her.

If Richy really did the BTWB's Scheiße and G.U.Y. choreos then there's no point in argue, he's more talented than Laurieann.... sometimes at least :stalkga:

"She's not professional..." Cue footage of Gaga rubbing her püssy juice on her saxophonists' pocket square.

I'm not sure how much professionalism is important in instances like this.

Genitalia rubbing was actually a choreography created by Richy.

I don't think this will happen.

As much as Gaga a nice person, Laurianne have burned that bridge between them the moment when she saying all kind of nonsense about her and Gaga. We all know Gaga doesn't like that kind of behavior, the reason why she cancelled that collab with Azealia Banks.

Besides, nobody will want to employ somebody who publicly do petty kiss and tell.

All her stylists went on to have amazing careers (Matthew, Nicola, Brandon). Her choreographers however....

No shade to Richie he's fine and gave us some great moments but I kinda want something new

Where IS Matthew??? Do you have a site of something cus it's like the man fell off the face of the earth. He's ex-Haus.

As for the others...Brandon started as Nicolas assistant, just like Tom and Sandra started as Brandons. They are all  incredibly successful and still  functioning members of the Haus . And she's only ever had Gibson and Richy (who was Gibson's asst) for choreo,so....

As for freshness.....Looking at all these clips of other choreos, I'm noticing something really significant. Richy has actually been creating new moves. I don't see his moves in others choreography. Mark is good but every element in that Lizzo choreo is familiar and commonly used (absolutely no disrespect tho!).

But can you honestly say that you've seen Richys moves, or executed like Richy does, anywhere else? Gaga wrote they "never do the same **** twice" and it is true.

*If you wanna understand choreography ( or ANY artwork to be honest), than do it. Emulate it.  Ppl stop clowning Pollack and Mondrian and Picasso REAL quick once they actually try to figure out how they started the process of a  piece :trollga:

I could see them forgiving each other and working together again. Gaga burned a lot of bridges around the time her and LAG split, and Gaga knows she was at least partly to blame. This was all 7 years ago.. time for everyone to move on.

I went opening night and had the same feeling. She had so much energy and emphasis in her movement. I loved it. I also liked how the dances were changed, but the same, you know?

Of all her concerts, videos do not do Enigma justice! I’m not sure why.

Matthew is well known in the fashion circle. He does collaborations with Nike and makes cool clothes. I still think he's the best of her creative director.

I think Richie's a great dancer and and I do like some of his choreo. I agree with everything that you said tbh, but for me some of Richie's choreo doesn't translate into the visuals, and sometimes I feel Gaga struggles singing and performing his choreo. If Gaga were to go with someone else I'd rather that choreographer be someone new.  She has no qualms trying new producers, writers, stylists, photographers so why not experiment with new choreographer? Sandra and Tom brought modernity to Gaga's style, Bryan Newman brought a fresh take on jazz music, Collier brought a sense of authenticity, Lukas Nelson practically formed the sound of ASIB. It's fun to see Gaga trying new things vs when she's simply trying to recreate past moments.
