The feminism isn't  about searching the equality anymore. 

And what exactly are YOU doing to help gender equality? Are you in a position of power where you can actually make a difference? Are you flying to countries actively forming protests to help save women from discrimination? We all do what we can to help the cause but questioning & forcing this “sole responsibility/you’re not doing enough” narrative on someone because you disagree with them is wrong. Just because someone isn’t able to save an entire gender doesn’t mean they’re somehow not a feminist. Your perception of feminism seems to be one that’s been skewed by republican views that harbor hate & spout “radical feminism” which isn’t the case. Yes there’s a small fraction that are radical but there’s a small fraction of radicals in everything & to stereotype an entire group off that isn’t right & wont help anything.

Sexism exists everywhere, and feminist ideology works in order to eliminate that sexism and create a society in which both men and women are treated equally. There's still cases of domestic violence against women, there are still cases of men believing women are inferior or just an object for their pleasure. You don't need to get any further than America's own Republican Party which has plenty of examples.

Also I think people are completely missing her point.

The fan probably wrote this because of how she speaks about these issues, and the fact that she's a strong woman herself, it made him believe in these rights.

And Gaga wanted to point out that she loves people, and seeing her fans makes her love people even more, it makes her want to help them and to fight against the struggles they have to face.

Do you know me? Do you know what I stand for? Do you know what I do to fight for what I stand for? No, no, & no. Just because we’re not fighting for women’s equality in Islam doesn’t mean we aren’t feminists. What exactly do YOU do for the causes you believe in? Are you donating millions? Do you have millions to fly to other countries to fight for what you believe in? I doubt it but just because you aren’t able to do those things doesn’t mean you aren’t whatever you claim to be. Is this seriously your answer? You don't think men have had an enormous privilege throughout history? Nobody's denying violence against men, there IS violence against men. But women suffer a LOT MORE, and they suffered from sexism ALL THROUGHOUT HISTORY. The sexism we see today in society is mainly against women. A good way of representing this is thinking about a country that is to men what some Muslim countries are to women. They don't exist. Men aren't actively oppressed. They never were. Really, read some books, please.

Some people are scared of feminists like they're scared of black lives matter. They see the words and think that it means "they hate men" or "they hate white people" when really both ideas are simply looking for equality for marginalized groups, females and black people. 

Anywho, she seems to just be emphasizing that feminism=equality for all people. I get why that wording might rub ppl the wrong way, but to me I don't feel it's so bad...

You don't have to be feminist to fight for the equality. Actually you have to have criterion not to speak only for one collective.

The poster won't listen (I already posted one link where Gaga says she is a feminist and there are plenty more out there—as you said, she changed her mind pretty early on in her career like a lot of pop girls). Anyone running with this and making it about a critique on feminism is either trolling, possibly unaware that she's said she's a feminist numerous times over the past seven or eight years, or trying to get Gaga dragged.
