Also none of this is about Gaga lol it doesn't matter whether it's a tweet or a high budget music video, it's about pretending to stand for something but doing the opposite at the same time, except in Gaga's case she was doing all that at the same time, while Tay's video was 4+ year ago, and she's changed her opinion now and they're friends. It's not everyone else's cup of tea but I personally don't believe every song in an artist's catalogue has to be mature and lyrically outstanding. Also the "GLAAD" reference was genius. It's obviously dealing with homophobia and whatnot, and while the lyrics themselves aren't all that great, the message is nice.
