kaojen 1,571 Posted June 13, 2019 Share Posted June 13, 2019 This past week I saw 3 Enigma and 1 Jazz & Piano shows, as well as a surprise performance st Brian Newman’s residency! Enigma June 6 I had regular GA of this one. We had no idea what to expect to walked over to the On The Record area where we line up, and played the slots for an hour. At one point a line was forming st around 5:00 and they just started weaving that informal line into the spot for lineup at 5:15. There was no chaos and pushing! This is the show where she started pretty late , but the energy was infectious and glorious! Because I was regular GA I had about 4th row center stage in the pit. You can see a lot of the show from there but when she is on the B stage dancing or at the piano she is facing away from you. Loved every second of the show and it was so amazing that she took the kids onstage from the BTWF! June 8th Enigma For this one I had early entry. Again an informal line was formed prior to 5:30. Security threatened to disperse the line if we blocked the sidewalk. So the informal line moved, and we got to wait there. Again, I was center stage, but this time 2nd row and behind people I could see over!! AMAXONG view and just as wonderful! It was so amazing to be that close and see the dancing and action, but I did want to experience the B stage perspective for my last show. June 9 Jazz & Piano + Brian i had pretty far back seats, but this did not take away from the experience! Such an amazing show and so happy to hear her celebrate her friends (Tony showed up! And of course Brian’s band was flawless) mind you I LOVE her doing jazz. So the versions of her pop songs with a big band were phenomenal and I loved every second of this show! Her voice is so powerful in this genre and this is a show you shouldn’t miss! After all this she still managed to have enough gusto in her to sing quite a few more songs at Brian’s residency later that night! Even if Gaga doesn’t show I would recommend seeing Brian. He has amazing special guests from burlesque performers to guests from shows around the strip! A real treat! Happy to see Gaga again! June 12 Enigma Last show! Last night also had regular GA and chose to be at the Piano stage! Im tiny so when the main stage parts were happening I couldn’t see much and had to rely a lot on the screens. Lineup for this show was horrendous. People loitered and made a line way too early and it got dispersed by security. Then when it was 5:30 people were pushing and shoving and it was madness! Some people got sent to the back when they hadn’t done a thing! But when she came for the beginning of the show, paparazzi, Piano parts, and the finale it was a perfect view. I tend to enjoy the experience and not take tooooo many photos during a show! I save a lot of money for these shows. I was lucky and got in before the pushing started but I felt so bad for everyone that got sent to the back for just being pushed themselves!! UPDATE: I just saw your insta and we got to talk before the show!! I was in the neon green vest.
