When Fox cancelled Lucifer after the 3rd season Netflix came to the rescue producing a 4th season which was released in May this year. Now it has been announced that the series with the Lord of Hell has been renewed for a 5th season, which unfortunately also will be the last one.

Except for the last one part it's great news :vegas:

I love this show, but still haven't finished season 4 cause I'm rewarding myself with the last 2 episodes for after my exams :huntyga:.

Sad to see it go though.

Netflix really boosted this show’s quality so i’m really sad we’re only getting 2 Netflix seasons in total. Season 4 was so good and 5 will probably be amazing as well. I’m glad there will be a proper ending but it’s bittersweet regardless

I watched it up until season 3 and couldn't move on.

Like every single episode was them solving a new crime that would be done by the end of the episode, it just got repetitive and pointless. :air:

Read a recap on season 3 and Watch season 4 then. Apparently Fox wanted a criminal case in every single episode to make it look like a typical crime series. Netflix flipped it the other way around and now it really revolves around a main storyline with some cases here and there.

Well actually there are cases in every episode, but instead of being the main focus of the episode they're just a guidance for the characters to solve their own problems and I think that's amazing  .

OT: I honestly don't know how to feel. I love that another season will come :firega: , but I'm sad it will be the last one :omg: .

Thank you for telling me! I also couldn't finish the third season because I got bored. Now I will be motivated to go to the fourth season!

I hoped there would be more Netflix seasons... but at least it will have a proper ending. I’m still sad though.

Plus we get to see his butt a lot! If that’s not motivating you then I don’t know what to say.
