In my country (Finland) Shallow charted only five weeks: 19 - 11 - 11 - 9 - 10 - 20 :saladga: (this is top 20 list since there isn't top 50 or any larger chart available by any reliable source)

But on the radio chart it has been 39 weeks now (100 most played songs is on that chart) and is still charting. 53 - 72 - 49 - 66 - 46 - 59 - 25 - 41 - 56 - 65 - 31 - 30 - 36 - 30 - 22 - 14 - 9 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 4 - 12 - 9 - 9 - 8 - 8 - 26 - 33 - 26 - 33 - 38 - 41 - 39 - 52 - 43

The thing that kinda broke ASIBs neck in Germany was the marketing. It was nonexistent. Seriously, I went 7 times to the cinema in the two months before ASIB came out and I saw the trailer once. For some reason it also got pulled extremely fast from cinemas and Was shown much less then similarly big movies are usually shown. They killed ASIB withtheir zeero marketing strat. Be happy it even was as successful as it was and even kinda is.

I really don't know. This is my guess:

Advertising: zero or at least I saw zero ads (I don't know if I should count YouTube ads. I saw those few times) and got to know that even a movie called a Star is Born is in the theaters was because I saw Americans recommending it on their Instagram stories (didn't follow Gaga back then) :saladga:

OT:

Spoiler

I became a fan after I went to see ASIB and after a month or so after seeing the movie I wanted to find out what Gaga had been doing since Poker Face time (I was 9 when PF released I believe). And I fell in love with her music (found out that many songs that I used to  listen was actually hers! because back then when I listened to music I didn't pay attention to who sang it or even the name of the song)and her personality. Since that I've watched videos of her performing and being interviewed every day

Because the marketing was so bad here no one really knew about the movie. And because they didn't know about it they weren't aware of the new music that came with it and they didn't find it if that makes sense.

If I'm being honest I haven't heard anyone here to even talk about Gaga or ASIB or Shallow. Even a stranger.
