At this point it appears that Ed Sheeran will repeat at #1 in his second week, and Beyoncé's inspired-by set, Lion King: The Gift, will battle a resurgent Billie Eilish—now approaching her 17th week—for the #2 spot.

Beyoncé - Lion King: The Gift (Parkwood/Columbia) 50-70k total activity, 13-18k album
The Lion King (Walt Disney) 17-20k, 11-14k

Nas (Mass Appeal/Def Jam) 17-20k, 5-7k

Another year, another #2 album

This really increases chances of ARUTW and ASIB winning grammys in movies categories. Also Beyonce team will submit homecoming for AOTY now so no more two soundtracks in AOTY category.

Hoping that Going Bad drops off the Hot 100 this/next week (it was #42 last week) because its creeping up on Shallow for year-end chart points. Right now they're almost even at #11 & #12 on the Building Year-End Chart with four months left of tracking. Hopefully this isn't Shallow's last week on the chart so it can rack up more points.

Top 20 on the final chart isn't out of reach, it could be her first one since Born This Way.
