AVeryGagaHolyDick 25,726
I didn't know Shallow and ARUTW went #1!!! I Don't understand why they don't release these world wide… On topic, I don't think it will be a hit, but I said the same thing about both Shallow and ARUTW so... Lucas 27,154
I still hear ARUTW or Shallow on the radio in France almost every time I'm in my car, it's crazy how ASIB's music is successful here
monketsharona 81,905
As much as I think Shallow and ARUTW are designed for radios, as much as I don't see ILNLA going anywhere on French radio. She should have pushed Heal Me or Look What I Found. I could see this working good here in France
AlexanderMagno 10,746
Probably not? The movie has left theaters, and despite Shallow success it's not enough to keep her next releases at the top as well (where did you see ARUTW peaking at #1?). Shallow was incredibly successful in Europe, but that doesn't mean that Europe is embracing any song with Gaga's name on it. She doesn't have that kind of impact anymore, for now. I'm not sure why they decided to release INLA as a single so late though. France is a very influential music market in Europe, so my only guess would be that they are trying to keep Gaga as much present as possible in Europe, so that this market might embrace a new song more easily... And that could mean a new single during the June-October Enigma hiatus? I don't know, or maybe they released it just because.

Rifek 51,753
I mean... If you want to keep the momentum why are you releasing a long heartbreaking song *which is a masterpiece in its full length indeed* and then you have to cut its verses/chorus/outro to fit the radio standards. It's a crime. Isn't it better to release a song which is already polished in production, is more radio friendly, fits the radio timing without cutting it and has more positive vibes for the summer time? Also less people know it since it wasn't used in the movie or in the promo videos. You know what I'm saying? IS THAT ALRIGHT? ❗️ IG: thebumblebee__ ❗️

If that was the case they would've had good sales and streams when the album was released/ durring the first weeks. Heal Me tanked on itunes while Shallow, ARUTW, INLA, ITA? were graviting around the top 10. Look What I Found got mediocre streams and this despite having a music video on youtube and TTH placement on spotify. The best performing song after Shallow and ARUTW has always been INLA so it makes sense why it was chosen as the next single.

ARUTW didn't actually go #1 on the official chart but an official chart site reported this when talking about INLA's release and some changed it on wiki because the site counts as a source. I think it has an Adele-like barnburning power ballad appeal and would do great on radio! I also agree it would I also think in one way it would do better than INLA simply because INLA has too long an intro for the GP and radio Yes INLA has a killer amazing Chorus but it takes over 2 minutes to get to it. Many ppl might get bored tbh
