On another note, I feel like Bobby is very underappreciated by this site. Here is a compilation of Bobby's strategies: 1. The promotionย of the entire BTW era. This doesn't need further explanation. That was probably the most extravagant promotion an album has ever gotten.ย Bobby was Gaga's marketing manager during BTW. 2. Joanne's promotion. Some say it was messy but it perfectly matched the album's relatively 'calm' tone. Every promotion in Joanne's era was strategic and not excessive in the way that it would be 'overblown'. The Budlight Tour was also brokered by Bobby. 3. ASIB soundtrack promotion. The promotion of the soundtrack and campaigning for the Grammys was executed to perfection. And NO, Warner has nothing to do with the soundtrack's marketing.ย The TV ads, cinema ads, billboards, radio strategy for Shallow were all on point. He even brokered a deal with Live Nation to fund the production of the movie. ($10 million) 4. CTC era. Enough said when a jazz album can debut at no.1. Of course, this couldn't have been done without Gaga's sheer talent.
