Yikes. That was bad. LAP is my all time favorite Madonna song. I cringed the entire time. 

To the posters upthread saying she was off bc of no piano. I agree. I am a pretty good guitar player. An all right singer. But I can't find the pitch to save my life if I'm not playing guitar.

Between LAP and Future there was a spoken part with Tchaikovsky's "Red Flutes" from The Nutcracker playing in the background. That's music from a ballet, so maybe Madonna's song will sample the music from the famous ballet?

Where to begin? She basically just recycled the MDNA Tour Intro + Met Gala performance, so nothing really new there. That Like a Prayer rendition was just rough. And while the performance of Future was better, it was such an odd choice for this performance. As someone else said, it just sounded like she was saying the same verse over and over again for five minutes. 

However, all that being said, still not worse than her performance of Shanti/Ray of Light at the VMAs. Her voice was like nails on chalkboard, and she just flopped around the stage like Silky Nutmeg Ganache.

It doesn't even look bad. Madonna + controversial religious statements are like her brand. She sounded...like how she always sounds...

I can barely make out the flags. 

I do like her message of "wake up and focus of the world" 

The European Elections are about to happen next week and polls show Far-Right winning.
She's right to put out a message on such a huge platform as Eurovision.

I wish she backed out on doing this performance. I love Madonna and defend her when she's wrongly treated but this time idk if I can defend something like this. I don't think Madonna will recover from this.

Oh of course she will. I just think it's been a massive disappointment and a huge waste of her time and opportunity to showcase the album on an enormous platform. The song is also doing absolutely NOTHING chart wise.She is CLEARLY advised by the wrong people - or advised by the right ones and ignores them. How hard is it to sing a song you wrote 30 years ago in key???? 

Having said that, it's a storm in a  teacup. We'll all move on to the next song and forget about this.

Yeah I understand what you mean but this performance basically alienated millions of people from Madonna. It's just sad seeing people drag her for this.

Literally this. Quite frankly, she would have been better off just keeping it to Medellin and Future and ditching LAP all together. Medellin is actually hanging around quite a bit and remains the best performer so far. If she had just pushed it a bit more like Gaga did with Million Reasons ,we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
