 She's basically explaining that James needed a wakeup call and how she doesnt hate him and she doesnt want people to hate on him and it's not a reason to celebrate her and that it isn't about her.  I feel like this video wasn't needed and her intentions were clear but I respect her a lot for saying what she is saying in this. And as a very emphatic person myself I can really identify with her thoughts and where she's coming from.

She is such a good person and you can tell she really (still) loves him. I honestly hope they will both find a way to heal and maybe one day find the courage to make a video together and talk about everything. I just feel like we should all respect her decision and stop the hate.

Tbh, if she really cared about his well-being and his career, she probably should have thought about the possible outcome when posting the first one. We're at like peak cancel culture, and I feel like she should have considered that she was literally ending him in 43 minutes

No one could have predicted that her 5 Million subscribers would blow up to what this has become. Besides, she said that she tried her best to talk with him in person face-to-face and he just wouldn't listen.

And she's right someone had to say something and she tried to do it in private many times and it didn't work. It all makes a lot of sense...

I'm glad that she's telling people to stop. I love the fact that even despite the things she said about James, that to some degree, she still does care for him.

Honestly, the bandwagon hate on James Charles was nothing but that: a bandwagon. Sure, there were people who had legitimate concerns about what he did (and those are totally justified), after all, what James did was absolutely wrong, but there were also plenty of people out there who just started hating on him because it was "cool" and "funny". 

I'm looking at James's sub count and it's on an incline. It's slow, but it's still there. If people actually cared about the issues, they wouldn't subscribe to him again. This just shows that people are so infatuated with drama; it's honestly kinda pathetic at this point. 

I said it before, but all of this drama is just way too overreactive and petty for a couple of YouTube videos...

Maybe not the scale, I agree. But I mean she's one of the biggest "beauty gurus" on the platform, and he's one of the most controversial. She must have had an inkling that she was about to dead him. And while I agree he needed a wake up call, he really may not recover from this.

Yes, I'm watching it now. What I'm saying is that this was an extreme situation, with extreme outcomes, in an extreme culture, on an extremely volatile platform, among extreme people. Like obviously this was going to cause a huge stir as she said, but doing it on Youtube for MILLIONS of people to get involved in, in a culture where there's entire channels dedicated to the drama, was obviously going to be hugely detrimental for James, and she had to have known that. And if not, that's a huge oversight on her part. If she cared about him salvaging his career and getting his personal life on track, then she shouldn't have put the nail in the coffin with that 43 minute cancellation. 

That all being said, I understand her feelings and really don't like James. But this was incredibly extreme, and really destroyed his life.
