I like the song and agree that Taylor is a very clever songwriter. 

It's impressive how she can write songs like 'Me!' and 'Shake it Off', whilst also offering the likes of  'All Too Well' and 'Red'. She is very savvy and knows exactly what she is doing. 

Whilst I think 'Me!' might be a little /too/ poppy and light, Taylor is always very good at playing the singles game. 

In addition to being a marketing genius, I think Taylor is one of the best songwriters of our generation - and songs like 'Me!' do not disprove that. In fact, a good pop songwriter is someone who /can/ write songs like 'Me!'. Being a pop writer isn't always about deep meaning... though I do personally prefer that style. 

Gaga and Taylor are, in my opinion, the most talented pop artists of our time.

If Taylor does not go back to being an authentic artist, she will end up like Katy Perry. Atleast Taylor is a real artist with talent while Katy does not have a choice. People today are more open to listening to all kind of music so she should go back to her roots. She should do something like the album Fearless it will make her more successful long term and be always respected as an artist.

How many times do I have to tell people that taylor is being authentic. This is her, it was her when she was singing tim mcgraw, love story, mine, we are never getting back together, shake it off, look what you made me do and ME!. She progresses like an artist and isn't being fake or not herself.
