She knows that fans want this "crazy dark era" ever since Born This Way. Considering it comes up heavily every single year she's rumoured to be releasing.

Happened with ARTPOP, happened with Joanne. 

Gaga is well aware that fans want a dark era like the Fame Monster. That's why fans went crazy about the original LG5, because she was teasing about vampires at one point, which turned out to be for AHS.

As others have said I do think the 2 projects are vastly different, but they still have to connect somehow (like her other albums connect) as it is Gaga afterall.

She had the whole enigma vive since ARTPOP when she used Hatsune, not to mention the bloodpop pics, LG6 could be anything at this point, i mean she slayed the world makeupless with shallow, who expected that?

Hey, I in no way said that's what I wanted. 

I should have clarified and said some fans want this, not all.

I am pleased with WHATEVER Gaga decides to release, because I am inspired by wherever she wants to go artistically, musically, and personally.

I would rather it NOT be dark. 

Those times in Gaga's life were obviously very difficult for Gaga, and I would hate her to have to go back such a bad place mentally and physically. She's in such a better place now and I embrace anything she will give us.
