That’s a great idea, I love it! The number of likes effecting a lot of people’s mental health negatively and it became way more important than it actually is. It was about damn time for these huge companies to care about these issues.

This needs to happen so bad, I know so many people who get so caught up on their likes. I myself have fallen into the trap too many times to count. It really does effect mental health in my opinion. I know firsthand, that if I post something and it doesn't get as many likes as most of my posts, I delete it, even if it's meaningful. I Marie Kondo'd my instagram feed recently and it was one of the best thing's I've done for my mental health recently.

It’s so good to see someone talking about this very honestly, I think it’s a struggle that most of us users face with, I did too. I’m happy you that you found the way to get out of that cycle :kara:

"Instagram is currently testing a new feature that would hide “Like” counts on your page. Rumors have spread around for a while since a tester leaked screenshots of the news update, but it was officially announced at the Facebook F8 Developers Conference and will be rolled out in Canada as early as next week..."

Destroy that vicious and toxic culture of the like that affects the human psyche in a negative way and can cause stress.

Instagram also lost its purpose because of this culture. It went from a safe place where you can post anything to a place where you're judged by the number of likes you have and people started to post accordingly instead of having fun :/
