This is a Gaga fan site. Gaga has always been the subversive alternative pop star. 

Taylor has always represented basic white blonde pop star. She decided to switch from country to pop and turn out a basic hit when in the past she’s bragged about her songwriting and production. Standing there accepting an award claiming to stand for women when not one woman was on stage behind her.

 It is a cash grab. Literally stealing candy from a baby since the majority of her fanbase are little girls.

Her father owns a stake in her record label. Nepotism pushed her to stardom. USC and various universities are being plagued by rich white parents paying their children to get into school. 

I would expect nothing less from a conservative leaning gay giving the opinion that people who don’t like the song means we're pressed just because it’s Taylor. Taylor has bragged about being a major feminist in the media with Lena Dunham. Taylor has bragged about songwriting. She’s won awards for this. This is not up to par with her last work. It screams I just want money and nothing about artistry to go so severe left from her last album.

I really do not get why people are upset the song is so cheesy and happy. I think it’s fun and I think it’s especially needed right now due to the current social climate we are in with high rates of depression and all. Just a thought...

Personally when I first heard the song I hated it .... But I love brendon in it makes me flashback to the days of panic! At the disco days.... After hearing it be overplayed on the radio it's gotten catchy to me so

I hate that this is a smash because its so mediocre. I feel like she is in the pantheon of those boring GP/radio filler artists like Maroon 5, Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons etc, but unlike them she's a pop culture figure because she's mastered being a celebrity and getting people interested in her beyond the music. Aside from that, they are all the same.
