Should Lady Gaga feature Brendon Urie on a song?

Brendon is actually a really good vocalist and makes good music. Recently he’s been jumping on trends which I’m not against, but imo doesn’t work well for him. But I have enough faith in Gaga’s musical ability that they’d actually work well together. Don’t judge him based on the t Swift collaboration, it’s like judging Gaga based solely on Chillin lol.

His voice is better suited for heavier instrumentals rather than something poppy & tropical. If LG6 truly is electronic his voice would actually be heavenly on it. Listen to Emperor’s New Clothes, Golden Days or Victorious if you haven’t it might change your mind. (Although, a Brendan Urie Collab is highly unlikely since Taylor literally dropped her collab last week LOL).

He’s an immensely talented artist and has a great voice.

Hell yes.

I had no idea GGD disliked him. But then again, GGD seems to dislike everyone.

I've thought this for the past 3 years. I'd love it, they both have powerful voices

I'll never understand the fascination with featurings. When it's two artists organically coming up with something together, that's great, but most of the time it's just a marketing strategy to merge several fanbases together. I really don't need Gaga to feature anyone tbh, she can live off her own hustle.

No? Just because a collab turned out to be successful for someone else doesn’t mean Gaga should follow the trend ESPECIALLY with the same exact person in that collab, like tf? She doesn’t follow trends, she starts them. I thought this became apparent after Joanne when every other pop entertainer started releasing country tinged tracks & wearing cowboy hats.

Clarification: I don’t dislike Brendon, I just dislike trends & those who think Gaga should follow them.

Nnn never liked Panic at the Disco tbh

If we're considering lead singers of contemporary Rock groups, I would rather go with The Killers' Brandon Flowers.

I think he is more handsome too :nick:

I wasn’t suggesting it just because it’s trendy, I’ve loved Panic! for years. He just happens to be trendy now which is convenient for commercial success but they’re both at their best when they’re weird, so they’d come up with something cool.

You just said he's trendy now which is convenient... if you weren't suggesting him just cause he's trendy now then why not suggest a collab before his collab with Taylor came out? Do you see how the timing is suspect? lmao

Why though? In order for her to have a  collab with him it would mean she's working with the flavour of the month. I would prefer if she collabed with a fellow artist because they both had something special to share in the same song.

Cause his colab with Taylor is not up to par for his material (which is usually stellar) and I was thinking about how Gaga would do something a lot cooler with him. I also thought about the hit potential but I’d love it for quality reasons.
