Believe in Love and Soft to be Strong :legend:

But, Enjoy Your Life is THAT SONG of the album (for me)

Very very happy with the final, full album!

hmm need a few more listens but was not really expecting this upbeat tone on FEAR, sad the You demo didn’t survive and that Please Don’t Call Me didn’t make it onto the album

believe in love is great and emotional machine, too afraid is decent but there’s no track I am obsessed with like Enjoy Your Life

show me to me please

too afraid and soft to be strong really hit. like WOW. I cant tell if its better than FROOT, because FROOT is my second favorite album of all time, but who cares if its better? its still an amazing album with such a good balance of ballads to bops. cant wait for my show in october.

I am really disappointed in this project. Like sure, some songs are bops but I can't really relate to many songs on this album. The only songs I really love are Handmade Heaven, To Be Human and Emotional Machine. All the others are kinda just there and are still fun to listen to, but not much more. :interestinga:

Life is Strange is amazing... True and To Be Human ... :sara:

Gotta admit tho that the whole album (both parts even) have a very similar sound in terms of the synths, effects and overall tone...

I actually really really like it, shocked after so much negative reception amongst some fans (on popjustice in particular.

My opinion is weird though, like the album feels a bit long but some of the songs could have been longer at the same time. I think the weird reception could have been changed by having the album arranged better. I don't think it needed to be a double album when all the songs clearly came from a similar creative space, it's all excellently cohesive and there's not a huge difference in style between the two sides.

I think keeping it as one clear body of work, with a different track order would make it a better realised piece of work but overall its a really pretty pop album about being unsure of yourself and your place in the world (a good 2/3 of thesongs cover this to some degree) and how you can find happiness and strength in places (Handmade Heaven, Orange Trees, Too Afraid), in people (End Of The Earth, Superstar, Believe In Love) and in yourself (Enjoy Your Life, True, Soft To Be Strong)

I'm still very confused after my first listen... I liked it but WHERE THE HELL IS THIS?!?!?!?! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EXACT MELODY FOR MORE THAN A YEAR F*CK

the first one the chord progression is literally the same as Emotional Machine (as she wrote in the description) - it was probably just a very early idea for it.

The album is incredible. Every song is fantastic and I am so grateful to finally be able to hear what she’s been crafting these past few years. It’s early to say, but this will very likely be my album of the year, along with LG6.

Finally I had the chance to listen to Fear as well. Overall I have to say I enjoyed Love more but I very much liked Too Afraid, You and No More Suckers from Fear.

This woman has so many thoughts and interesting views, it would be a waste to not share with the world, I’m so happy she’s making music. Enjoy the album everyone :lana:
