Because I literally said I didn’t know about it until I researched it after reading this thread. If I still lived in a Canada I would definitely be out protesting this at my local government office. As I said before, don’t get mad at the Canadian, get mad at the Canadian government. I’m planning on writing a letter to my provincial and federal government on this issue.

I see you've updated your post. To clarify, I do not look down on the people of the Philippines. It's a beautiful country and everyone I've met from there has had a heart of gold. I do however look down on the current president, his war on drugs, and the way that he conducts himself. I need you to work on realizing that distinction.

First of all I wanna apologize on how I handled this whole situation. Second, if that’s how you truly feel about our country then citizens like you should take action with this vile act your government is doing and not doing so is an act of you guys don’t give a **** and your post before this was a backhanded compliment to us, which implies you infact are a white supremacist.

Your country is poisoning our land and our cute beaches. I just find it so hypocritical when western countries throw their trash in 3rd world countries and then blame us for poisoning our oceans in articles.

Nothing I said was intended to be backhanded. I really do think it's a beautiful place full of wonderful people. And I agree with you that dumping waste in third world countries is a low blow and wholly inappropriate and should be dealt with.
