Beyonce - "Homecoming"

I sort of felt that the documentary was... unnecessary.

Glad we have a new live album though, I actually listen to the tracks from the I Am live album over the album versions. The way they removed her vibrato in the early days is criminal.

At this point I think she looked back at the footage and realized she looked in pain...the stage was breaking...and she is already moved on to other projects like ENIGMA and LG6...:toofunny:

this tea right here. Plus although I like many elements of Joanne tour it is far from being her best tbh (in my opinion) so maybe it's not that bad that we didn't get a live dvd :'(

Just finished watching it and although i wished  we got a bit more from behind the scenes and maybe like some shots of bey being more intimate (like how she did for the bts of self titled), i'm so happy with what we got. this is literally my favorite concert of all time  so the fact that she also released a live album of it was more than i could hope for. i can finally delete my bad quality mp3 files from weekend 1

No you are right Bey's voice did drop. It happened when she gave birth to her first baby actually and it got more noticeable with the second pregnancy. Apparently it is extremely common for female singer's voices to sound more "masculine" or lower after they give birth. It is a hormonal thing and it lasts forever.

Hopefully she won't keep on popping out babies otherwise she'll sound like Jay Z.

Did she leave her home?

I don't understand the dramatic use of this title, there's no sense in that

Homecoming is an annual college celebration in the states and is, as they point out in the doc, like the super bowl for HBCU culture. So it’s in reference to that; the Greek lettering to Greek life at said schools which is also integral to the HBCU culture.

Call me a hater, but I don’t understand why everybody’s going bat sh*t crazy over an item we got a year ago? I do feel Beyonce gets overly praised, almost automatically. Also, directing credit? Yeah, sure.

How do you think Christians pronounce "The Fame Monster" with a cross for a T? :udidnt:

I thought they pronounce it as "Bible", like the rest of the world. Am I wrong?

Holy sh*t I'm not even halfway through and her energy, she really is one of a kind. I wish Britney and Gaga hadn't had their injuries :cryga:
