sillynate 6,170
Hello all I’ve made a playlist full of songs that showcase a wide array of musical genres Gaga has done. My end goal in all of this is for non fans/the GP/haters to see that Our Lady can make music for any and all. However, I feel I may be incorrect with some genres and would like corrections as well as input for additional songs from fellow monsters to make this playlist even more eclectic than it already is Playlist: Spoiler Breakdown: Spoiler Playlist is titled La Chameleon and is named after her character in Machete Kills and is a reference to a “music chameleon” 1. Aura - EDM (EDM is such a bare term when there’s many subgenres) 2. Cheek To Cheek - Jazz 3. Jewels N’ Drugs - Trap 4. Sinner’s Prayer - American Folk 5. Fashion Of His Love - 80’s Pop 6. La Vie En Rose - Classical French 7. Government Hooker - Techno Pop 8. Poker Face - Synth Pop 9. Mary Jane Holland - Industrial Pop (might be wrong) 10. Your Song - Rock Ballad (might be wrong) 11. Telephone - Dance Pop 12. Always Remember Us This Way - Country 13. Chillin - Hip Hop 14. I Want Your Love - Disco (Disco Pop?) 15. Find Yourself - Soul (bare term as well plz help) 16. Americano - Mariachi Techno 17. Applause - Drum and Bass Pop (Pop and Bass ) 18. Diamond Heart - Rock (very bare term plz help) 19. Scheiße - German Techno (might be wrong) 20. Dancin’ In Circles - Bollywood Dance/Hindi Dance (might be wrong) 21. The Cure - Tropical Pop (might be wrong) 22. Joanne - 70’s Rock Ballad (might be wrong) Again, I’m open to corrections for the ones I didn’t make notes next to and for other songs that I may have missed and should be included. Twitter 14
R&B should be included. DWUW? Also I would consider JnD hip-hop. She hasn’t really done a full on trap sound yet. Shallow should be included somewhere.

Do What U Want, Before I Cry, Posh Life Fun fact, I had DWUW in there but then she removed it and now there’s a glitch. If you’re skipping through the songs, DWUW will come up for a quick second and before it even starts it goes to the next song I don’t know where exactly it happens though because I’ve rearranged these songs many times. I’ll definitely add in one of those!
ARTPOPSTER 4,246
Swine- Dubstep, Industrial. I think MJH is more EDM.
StarstruckIllusion 52,267
The Cure isn’t tropical pop. There are no tropical origins to that song. Just synthpop. The barebone tropical soca beat isn’t there, but all the other synths are.

jacs vs looser 4,154
I'm not sure I'd call Americano "mariachi techno", but then again, I don't know what genre I'd call it.

AJRocketMan 2,684
“EDM” isn’t a genre. It’s an umbrella term for any upbeat music that is electronic. Dubstep, trance, UK garage, House, Techno, Freestyle, Breakbeat, Eurodance, and so on are all EDM. Aura is Psychedelic Trance and Complextro. DWUW is both Synthwave and Alternative R&B. Mary Jane Holland is Glitch-Hop. I would say Scheibe is either Electroclash or Electro-House. Government Hooker is just Techno. Venus is Electro-House. Dope is Electronic Rock and Soul mixed together. Sexxx Dreams is Nu-Disco and Electrofunk.

I don’t think I mentioned that in my OP 2 hours ago, JustAnother said: No offense but why did you make this thread if you doubt half of their genre’s legitimacy Because Imamess.mp3 2 hours ago, Schizophonic said: i would count joanne song albumversion as folk shallow grammy version as glamrock metallica metal red and blue ep - singer songwriter pop come to mama - blue eyed soul sound of music - broadway musical willkommen cabaret - classic musical i wish stevie wonder - classic soul buning down the house - Alternative/Indie viva la vida - britpop cake - trap None of these are on Spotify tho 2 hours ago, jacs vs looser said: I'm not sure I'd call Americano "mariachi techno", but then again, I don't know what genre I'd call it.
