What did timberlake do/say?

And I would hardly say Adam Levine fits this category as M5 had one of the biggest songs of the last year... even if it is crappy :laughga:

Talking about Vegas residencies being retirement central.

Chainsmokers, Katy Perry, Die Antwoord, M.IA., Dr Luke, Perez Hilton, Azealia Banks, Laurianne Gibson, Christina Aguilera etc :coffee:

I know she reconciled with some of these people but they all talked **** about Gaga at some point. They were also all big at some point. Yet after shading Gaga all of them seem to have disappeared into irrelevance. Why? :coffee:

And why have the artists who've supported her always like Rihanna, Halsey, Ariana still seeing success?

Is there a pattern we see here?  :coffee:

The fact that they are envious of her success and speaking ill on Gaga who is an extremely kind and talented soul  speaks volumes on their character and how they conduct themselves in the industry.

If their careers don't tank because of their disrespect towards Gaga, then their careers will tank tank for talking **** on someone else in the industry.

It's just their personalities. They destroy themselves.

Did Timberlake say this in direct reference to Gaga's Vegas residency?

Y'all are delusional, there was never a feud between Gaga x Katy or Gaga x Christina. Just because the fans made a competition between them doesn't mean they are having beef. :air:

Katy is having her ARTPOP moment, let her.

People like to hate to make themselves feel better. So hating on Gaga at this point is just a bad look, because she's shown how undeniably talented and genius she is. Regardless of any mistakes or "choices".

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

Pop careers are designed to be short since the industry panders to a fickle and trendy fan base.  It’s an exception if it’s otherwise.  Many here would argue that Gaga’s own pop career is not as strong as they would like even though she’s wildly successful with non pop material.  Gaga has an expansive talent level and charisma that allows her to explore many avenues of success and that will lengthen her career.   However her success currently is due to going opposite the pop playbook, in consternation to many of her pop fans. Most pop artists don’t have that ability.

In any case I find it rather funny how pop fans brag about Gaga when she’s successful basically because she did exact opposite of what pop fans said she had to do.

While it’s good to be happy for Gaga, I hate that pop fans feel they have to tear down other artists in order to elevate her.  They are all different types of contributors no matter what their current success level.  Stans need to quit pitting people against each other.  Dr Luke however is worthy of scorn for just being a bad person, his downfall is simple karma.

Also, some of these people didn't hate on her—it's fan reaching on a general comment and/or something very mildly negative vs. say, Calvin's misogyny (which wasn't even hating on her, tbh, but his general habit of trying to snatch credit from various people and pretend that everyone wants to work with him to the point that he has to turn offers down). But yeah, publicly hating on a colleague is in bad form and as entertaining as feuds are I'm glad Gaga doesn't indulge in that sh*t anymore.

This. Bubblegum pop is arguably dead, rn, and pop itself constantly evolves and artists who only stick to "pure" pop rarely last.

Also, Calvin is worthy of a bit of scorn because of his habit of trying to claim credit for other people's work.

Justin has never said one bad thing about Gaga.

He follows her on Instagram, and when he was doing his Superbowl, he briefly mentioned how the previous headliners were so different or something and mentioned Gaga briefly.

Let's not forget she met Justin at SNL as she did with Bradley.

I love how you mentioned SNL but forgot to say that she literally has a song with him.

Katy critised Gaga because of the Alejandro MV and Christina said she didn't like her in a 2009 interview. I will post link if you want but I'm on the phone right now.

Add Die Antwoord to the list. :classy:

You're literally talking about 2009 and 2010. Ofcourse an artist has a bit of a decay after being on top for quite a while, Katy had TD en PRISM in the meantime, Gaga had ARTPOP.

It'd be delusional to think if y'all actually thought this was a thing.

And if it was in 2009 what? The OP is talking about people that said negative things about Gaga and they are part of that category.

I wouldn't say Katy and Gaga have an all out feud. I think they came up around the same time, I think Gaga owned the world for a minute and thus her success sparked some contempt in some people as anyone who reaches that astronomical level of success and discussion usually does. Katy has said some shady things over the years, as has Gaga. I don't think they love eachother but at the end of the day I doubt they ever hated eachother. I think they just don't always agree with eachothers professional choices and thats neither positive or negative, it just is.
