Oh please. The centre of that documentary was her struggle with fibro and that’s what it’ll be remembered for.

“It documents the events around the production and release of Gaga's fifth studio album, Joanne, and her halftime performance at Super Bowl LI.”

Yes, it’s a promotional tool... not just some documentary on fibro. Don’t get me wrong, I love the film, but let’s not act like those other projects didn’t influence the making of the documentary.

Lmao I thought for a sec a series based on  a book I recently read (Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi ) was coming and got excited for a moment than I read again :toofunny:

Beyonce lost me after 4 and Lemonade.

Exactly. The final 10 mins were about the Super Bowl, and a lot of the footage was from before she even found out she was doing it.

This Beyoncé documentary could easily be about her transition from a huge stadium world tour to pregnancy with the twins and her struggles with that leading up to her big return to the stage at Coachella. Beyoncé isn’t just going to toss out some half assed documentary unless she felt it was necessary or could tell a story.

It was an incredible performance. And I love to see her bts working on production so I’m here for it.

A full documentary about a festival gig.

omg get over yourself. I really see Beyoncé’s power fading soon unless she pulls it out the bag.

Got girls pressed without raising a finger. Surely her power is still strong today. Ahhhh when will other legends. :diane:

The fact that they had different chores alone is enough for me to want a documentary

Oh my god, don't y'all EVER get tired of talking **** about Beyoncé? You'd be so happy if Gaga would do stuff like this, but no, if it's Beyoncé then it's a bad thing. :saladga:

That show was iconic, had +100 dancers and a whole ass orchestra doing everything live in the main set while Beyoncé buster her ass off dancing and singing, not to mention she is the first black woman to headline Coachella. That's history.

So yeah, a documentary would actually be a good gift to fans and music lovers in general. Beyoncé is a perfectionist and seeing her rehearse and putting on a great ass show is always entertaining.

No shade, but... How is Beychella a historical moment in music?

Bey was excellent with her performance as always and she put a spin on her songs with university bands, and I don't get what is so amazing.

Plus, we got a doc about an album and Super Bowl performance.

How is this any different?

If all you got from 5ft2 is "it's about the super bowl" maybe you should watch it again sis... :selena:

And it was just a Coachella performance. Was it good? Duh. But there is no need for a documentary about it :ladyhaha:

She was the first black woman to headline Coachella. Is that historical enough for you?

Actually no, It didn't change anything, as if coachella was racist or something out of place  It was more historical the Vogue cover by a black photographer in all history of the magazine.

It’s the same color as her and her backup dancers uniforms in the opening number and not in the live video release but in the actual show it’s introduced as Beyoncé’s homecoming so I think it’s confirmed!
