Lol the casual racism JUMPED OUT ugh, white people have more opportunities than poc and are literally EVERYWHERE but the moment someone calls for diversity, it’s all like ‘Hm WHaT iF ThEY weRE bettTTeR at the JOb HMmm’ ‘wHat IF it waS thE otHER waY arOUND’ :saladga:

i swear, this is the problem with GGD, and it’s really turning me off from coming here

Actually I’m commenting on the US’s idea of “diversity” being black and white. Does she actually care about proper racial representation or does she just want people of black/African-American background being represented, which seems to be a recurring theme in media (calling things diverse because there’s black people, completely forgetting there are other racial and ethnic groups not represented). Thanks for trying to clap back though, maybe next time don’t throw the racist title around.

Maybe the team wasn’t as diverse as she wanted because they hired people based on who the right person was for the job instead of skin color & trying to fill a quota.

Maybe that was racial discrimination from the company or maybe it happened because they took the best ones who apply and, in this case, they were whites. It wouldn't seem far stretched in a mainly white country where big companies like Reebook nearly only hire folks coming from big business schools where poc students are under-represented.

In both cases racism towards poc play a role.

:toofunny: I'm so out of touch with shoe culture.. all I really wear are stompy boots and oxfords

I don't remember Reebok being a very sought-after  brand ), but just about everything Beyonce touches turns to gold

For those trying to prove a point because it’s Beyonce and you clearly dislike her, keep this same energy when it come to Gay representation. Imagine this: “Gaga walks out of meeting because of lack of LGBT presence”

GGD Members: “Yass queen we need to be represented. We Stan a queen who stands up for us”

GGD is racist, it's just a fact at this point. It's been proven to me several times reading threads upon threads.

Ok, so here's the thing. White people are literally not more talented than anyone else. The strongest teams are built from a diverse group of equally talented people who have rich history and culture to contribute. There are so many benefits to building teams this way, it's absurd. Of course, America is majority white, but that doesn't mean if you have a team of 5 people or especially dozens of people that you can't diversify and enrich your team with different perspectives.

PLUS, if you're planning campaigns with Beyonce and likely using that to focus on people of color, you damn well better have people of color working on that campaign/project.

Like, come on friend. Bottom line, everyone is talented, do the work and build diverse teams for literally everyone's benefit.

Beyoncé preaches equality and diversity yet she has black children slaves making her clothes and her position in the industry is built on the back of her relationship with a powerful black man. She’s practically owned herself. Don’t let her lyrics fool you.

I hope her hypocrisy catches up to her.

Good for her for knowing what she wants.

Besides, cool and Reebok can never be put in the same sentence for a minute now anyway.

Perhaps some people dont see certain skin colors as the "right people"? :triggered:

The joke is lowkey on her, Reebok is a subsidiary of Adidas. :chica:

Not really, since both are operated separately still.
