Least amount of performances in an era?

She performed at the Grammys and the Oscars. Is this the least amount of live performances during an era for a pop girl? Even Beyonce did the VMAs, BET Awards, and Grammys during Lemonade. I'm not complaining, just curious.

I don’t get why people don’t understand that A Star is Born is NOT A LADY GAGA ALBUM

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

It is a Lady Gaga album just like  The Bodyguard is a Whitney Houston album. Regardless of semantics, it is still a Lady Gaga ERA.

Perhaps Joanne?

She performed at the Grammys, Superbowl (does it count?), X Factor, and some other radio shows, or in Japan, I don't recall any other performances

PG.

No, it the A Star is Born soundtrack’s only purpose for existing is to promote the movie. It’s not a regular album. She’s not gonna drop a single every two months and promote them in every TV show and so on. The movie was out, the soundtrack was out, the movie left the cinemas, the end, goodbye, she’s not gonna keep promoting it for months to go. She only performed Shallow in the Grammy and the Oscar cause it was nominated. It’s not rocket science.

She also did VS Fashion Show, Royal Variety, Late Late Show, SNL, SmapSmap and hundreds of radio performances and low-key tv performances.

Joanne received plentyyy of promo.

But I don't think it compares to the amount of performances from her past eras?

Moana and Suicide Squad are examples of soundtracks that only exist to promote the movie. ASIB follows the Purple Rain/ The Bodyguard blueprint of piggybacking off the movie of further the music career. Hence why those album have at least 50% recorded by a singular artist, have their faces and name on the album cover. Again, regardless of your definition of what is an album, it is still an ERA.

I just remembered the Reputation Era only had two performances. Jimmy Fallon and the AMAs.

I do get it is an era but it’s a given that you should not expect it to have several performances, singles, etc.

Joanne is my favorite album by her :green: but I don't recall any MAJOR performance, other than Grammys, Superbowl, X Factor and the Victoria Secret one. Perhaps because those shows are huge in a worldwide level, and the rest are either only big in the USA or their respective countries.

Other soundtracks headlined by a single artist like The Bodyguard, The Preachers Wife, Evita also received live performances.

Again, I'm not complaining about a lack of performances. I was just curious.
