I'm not too worried about the problematic things that artists say. If they make good music, I'll listen to it and enjoy it. If they physically harm another person, like sexual assault or domestic abuse, that's a different story. I will never, not even for a second, sell out trans women or forget what they've done for the LGBT community and continue to do. Azealia has given her time, money & opportunities to a few trans women she's known personally. Her original CheapyXo partner who recently passed was a trans women she helped from being homeless and jobless. Azealia says a lot of unruly things, but actions speak louder than words.

Sis it's called ironic humour, she doesn't even have 10k on insta, she's hardly a queen. I doubt many people here are actual AB stans, unless people are actually paying for her soap bars or for her shows give them a break.

She's a huge troll. She hates on almost every group conceivable at the flick of a switch. She called Irish women ugly vitamin deficient inbred oompa-loompa looking spray tanned crazy looking b*tches  with scurvy (did she lie.. ??????)  and then proceeds to tell us to all go die in a famine. Like it's offensive. She is offensive and her comments are awful but if you know what she's like, you expect this kind of sh*t from her so it's less offensive ane more funny tbh. I think the way she body shames  trans women is downright awful and it isn't funny but she's said so much you just get to a point where you shrug it off as just being the "Azealia" thing to do. She almost has made bigotry a brand. Doesn't make it okay but it's her... it probably stems from mental health issues, which still doesn't excuse it but it does stop people from taking her seriously. Basically she's a JOKE..... that makes bops.

So:

1. She had a trans friend, so she's allowed to attack trans women online and 

2. Unless someone physically or sexually assaults another person, they get a pass for every bigoted thing that comes out of their mouth.

I genuinely can't imagine living my life like that. A white gay putting his superficial enjoyment of house music over the protection of the rest of the community, convincing himself that he gets to forgive someone for berating trans women online and threatening to kill other people online because he likes her music... a walking cliché.

If I canceled every artist for every problematic thing that they've said that has bothered me, I wouldn't even stan gaga anymore. You calling my enjoyment for her music a 'superficial enjoyment of house music' really shows how much knowledge you lack on her music and house music, and also how much you've stereotyped white gays into something so universal like enjoying  house music. Get over yourself.

She fought her sister sooo long ago and they're both fine with each other to this day. Not to mention her untreated mental illnesses at the time. And both of the air flight attendant instances were because people were mistreating her, and there's witness accounts to that.

She doesn't get a pass. No one is saying what she does is okay we're just recognising she's awful while still appreciating the sonic quality of her music. Maybe we should feel bad for liking the art of someone that messed up and hateful, what does it say about us? Tbh I don't feel the hateful attitude come across in her songs so it's easy to ignore she's actually like that.
