Stop calling anyone whose ideology is Liberalism, that he is following neoliberalism or far right. If you now are able to travel all around the world so easily, especially and Europe and have equal rights is because of Liberalism and free market and society. Keep helping the rich getting richer and the poor poorer? Oh please. Liberalism gives the chance in a free market to everyone to work and become rich. On the other side, socialism and left have the state in the center and want everyone to be poor, by having high taxes and a highly controlled market where being successful is much harder, and then giving back to the people subsidy money to keep them happy. Maybe you should think again what Liberalism actually means for the people. Look at the state of Great Britain in 1850 or the entire early phase of the industrial revolution. Another example is the economic system of the Roman Empire. These are two of the most hyper-capitalistic economic systems ever and the only reason why you don't have to live under these conditions is the fact that there is a strong government that doesn't allow child labor and 18h work days. A strong state and the higher taxation of rich people is not wrong because this will never target you. Did you know that in Germany we have an income tax of 45%? 50-55% is not a whole lot if you ask me and we have a more better economy eventhough our taxes are higher. Maybe you know this territory under the name of GDR or DDR. My parent's and Grandparents told me more about life here than you will ever know and nobody says that the new system is sooooo much better than their old system and funny enough they're all pretty conservative leaning.
