It's very true that some users "shove" her in our faces more often than we'd like, and that understandably adds to the potential contempt towards her. Before finding out about Ava, I would see all these threads about her pop up out of nowhere and if I hadn't taken an interest in her, it would've probably annoyed me too. That being said, she is serving pure pop (by GGD standards), and that's something we haven't seen in the mainstream for a while. I agree that she's not up to par with Gaga, but I also understand the comparisons and the buzz because she reminds people of the time the new "it girl" came along. Those were very fun times and, in my opinion, much more interesting than the somewhat bleak pop scene of today, or rather these past few years. Even if you find her sound mediocre, it's easy to see that people are interested and there's got to be a reason for that. She's also putting the pedal to the metal when it comes to promo, similar to how Gaga did with Just Dance, by performing on loads of TV shows and radios in many countries. As usual, the US is behind (again, just like they were with Gaga) and they're slowly catching up. It's very probable that this song becomes a sleeper hit there too. If you don't like her, that's totally cool, but at least try to refrain from participating in the constant shade that's being thrown her way and that's starting to look like hate more and more. I'm not saying this to you in particular, but to members in general. It's true that we're not like the nasty people on Madonna Nation, god forbid, but at a certain point the non-stop dissing and snide remarks become old and tired.
