Review LG6

Even though LG6 isn't out as of now (as far as we know at least), nobody can keep us from already review it like truly melodramatic monsters. I think Gaga's decission of becoming a full-time performer at one of those marriage churches in Las Vegas really influenced this new, gospel-inspired record with only a cappella vocals.

What are your thoughts on the record? :sis:

Honestly, I was really expecting her to take me off the deep end and into a techno-mermaid fantasy filled with Frankensteins. What we got instead is this metal-by-way-of-country-by-way-of-trap marvel, which while unique and filled with Bradley Cooper references, wasn't the anthem-stomping pop spectacular I was expecting. That song where she sings GAGA in different accents for 4 minutes and 12 seconds is iconic tho. That said; I've bought it on 4 platforms, have it streaming 24/7 on multiple Spotify accounts and have tweeted that each album purchase counts as an extra vote against Trump in 2020.

My favourite song was the one where tony bennett coons See You Next Tuesday for four minutes straight while gaga moans in the background .

The trap beat on that one was insane.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

The song with the choir was EVERYTHING!

I also love the album opener was NOT expecting that at all.

The fact that she brings up The Fame and her other albums.

THE SONG ABOUT THE ARTPOP ERA OMFG.

"I'd rather be poor and happy, than rich and alone"

A Hybrid

Tbh I don’t particularly enjoy the album cover, it’s too similar to BTW (which is thankfully IMO still her worst cover) but simplified. I didn’t enjoy the overall sound either, we expected experimental techno and got BloodPop Shitpop instead. Gonna stick with Shallow for now and hope these basic ass songs don’t trend, it’d ruin her image.
