To me, it looks like a top 10 debut for sure at this point. Our problem is that this fanbase hasn't seen a huge debut (top 10, #1) in AGES for Gaga. So it's hard to imagine. Gaga is enyoying a lot of success and hype right now, yes. But while she's riding this wave we need to remember she still needs to release a good single, an interesting video and have Interscope direct all their eyeballs on streaming services. I do think they can give it proper visiblity following ASIB more than they could with PI following ARTPOP. Then there's the issue with pop radio. Gaga isn't anywhere near being considered old, but she's not exactly pop-friendly anymore either. Sure, Shallow is making up for it but that's because of the Oscars. How will she be able to get playlisted on those stations without that push? I'm sure she can get played by them the first few days the single is out but the truth of the matter is that this fanbase will have to put more effort in it than it did recently for Shallow. It's absolutely CRUCIAL and I believe this next era is indeed a make or break era for her. It sucks that even though she's had so much success recently that she still needs to fight a bit harder but that's just the way it is.
