I want us to get new Gaga albums at least every 3 years and that's not happening if she keeps doing movies. :awkney:

1 pop add for Shallow:

KRBE-FM (#6)

This station was already playing it, but only decided to officially add it now.

Who looks at radio stations' twitter pages? I'm saying this as swift stan of 9 years...

It’s more the fact that clearly she’s going to have a humongous first day on radio. Her team are going all out clearly

This is kinda sad imo. Radios are already ready to promote her lead single when it hasn't even charted yet, but when Shallow hits #1, the radio airplays are underwhelming. :triggered:

Love So Soft by Kelly Clarkson just got certified Platinum in the USA.

I am really confused by the certification.

Love so soft only reached #47 on Hot 100 and it only stayed 13 weeks on Hot 100.

How does this reach Platinum?

Don't get my wrong, I do love Kelly.

I just wonder how this happens (and many other songs which get certified too).

It stayed in the Top 20 on iTunes for quite some time and I think a good 85% of its overall streams are from the USA. It also charted when sales amounted for less on the Hot 100, with the current formula it would have charted a lot higher.

It's not that hard anymore to go Platinum with streaming. :huntyga:

Dancing On My Own by Robyn was just certified Platinum by the RIAA, Call Your Girlfriend was certified Gold. DOMO is Robyn's first Platinum single.
