Medellín is actually quite decent, and even if not I have respect for Madonna for at least not getting boxed in over the years. Remember, she's literally 40 years into her career. The chart positions and content are great considering, and I hope Gaga experiences the same longevity. That's admirable.

 

And honestly, her comments toward Gaga always bothered me (the ego, ugh), but I do think she knows where she was wrong.

OT - Although the Earth song is cringeworthy, i do have to admit I do wish sometimes Gaga was more active when it comes to collabs. Sure shes obviously top of the crop talent in Hollywood so she doesn’t have to associate with just whoever if she doesn’t want to but so is Ariana, Beyoncé, etc. when it comes to voice and they still collab and involve themselves in projects like this. I think Gaga always gets offered but I think she always declines. Like I applaud her for her vision of self-worth and control and being able to say “no”, but sometimes it would just be nice to catch our fave in these types of things

She should use her self-worth, control and abilities to say "no" when it comes to having her friends get involved with her work. All these yes men around her have arguably made her art weaker

 

She never gets involved in projects like these, but she donates to charities. So it pays off I guess.

Girl lmao, lets not act like “azul are you with me?” Is any better.

when she sings “yo soy la Reina de Los  nenes” my friends and I always laughed because we thought it said “yo soy la reina de los memes” 💀

 

katy’s lyrics are dumb but at least she’s not trying to sing in Spanish when she can’t pronounce properly.

Speaking of horrible remixes, that Calma version with Alicia Keys is awful as well (I have the same problem than with Despacito/Mi gente, the Anglo feature can’t sing Spanish and they gave her half of the chorus). 

The version with just Farruko is good, it’s a shame that they got someone who’s career has been death for the last 10 years because it deserved way better.
