Shallow was a little bit bigger in Europe because radio embrace it. While it's true that radio was much more supportive here then in the US it's not the only thing that made the difference. Shallow did alot better here on streaming even before it became huge on radio, for example in sweden it was top 3 on streaming and the official chart for weeks before it even touched the top 20 on radio, and even when it hit #1 it was only #17 on radio. ARTUW also had already gone top 10-20 in alot of countires in europe long before it was even sent to radio. Atleast the asib era was bigger in Europe then the US.
