But whenever I hear these covers it makes me appreciate how Shallow is one of those songs that can only be truly captured by Gaga’s voice and performance. It’s a song that will be covered on countless shows and Youtube videos from now on but nothing will do the song justice like Gaga. It’s so unique and powerful. Also a bit of an aside but I was watching JWT videos and then thought how during this and even before that like during Coachella or the Half time show, Gaga had this powerful smash song sitting in her brain that she knew would be unleashed to the world in about a year and a half. The gap used to be 60m in early March. Shallow will also overtake Thank U, Next (762.3m), released a month later, in the near future since it's gaining a lot more daily. It'll take 139 days according to my calculations. Another one is Taki Taki, released a day later but now Shallow is on track to surpass it in 81 days.
