Excited for Madonna release but this song is simply not good. Plus it’s too long for a streaming era song. And while i do like longer songs, it kind of goes nowhere ...

In a very curious twist of events... Born This Way as a whole has picked up a bit of steam on Spotify as a whole and might even end the year being close to 700M streams. Almost as if the record was way ahead of its time. :vegas:

Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s Oscar-winning “Shallow” is moving toward #1 on the Mediabase hot adult contemporary radio chart. It has a chance of getting there as soon as this week.

“Shallow” received 2,497 spins during the first three days of the April 14-20 tracking period. While the count still positions “Shallow” at #2 on the building/real-time chart, the song is within striking distance of #1. Benny Blanco, Halsey & Khalid’s “Eastside,” the building #1 song, maintains a lead of only 76 spins.

Medellín is not that bad actually.

I saw a video about things related to music theory and said that pop and hip hop music in US have rythmic traits that mimic the way English language is spoken and how English people stress syllables wherease Latin music has rythm similar to the way Romanic languages sound. Maybe this is why so many people on pop forums (which are English-driven) despise Despacito and all latin hits. :reductive:

I'm from Argentina and I can confirm the song is horrible

Gaga didn't say a word about her birthday, nor about Notre Dame, nor about the Time article by Celine Dion :triggered: This is so weird. I miss even her random tweets about the BTW Foundation.

When you put it like that, this "blackout" is almost as bad as the middle of the ARTPOP era blackout.

Soon Gaga will unexpectedly perform the title track from her next album on The Tonight Show w/Jimmy Fallon:vegas:

Anyone thinking Taylor will ever flop isn’t right. She’ll still open with 1M first week sales with her fan base only and that isn’t a flop at all :poot:
