This is so sad. Why??? So stupid to kill anyone about anything, truly.

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

This is a terrorist attack plain and simple. So incredibly scary that we still don’t have a death toll yet. RIP. And thoughts to the Muslim community in New Zealands.

Also don’t share/watch/interact with the video, it’s what the shooter would’ve wanted.

I’m hearing on the radio now that New Zealand police don’t typically carry guns? And citizens can’t gwt guns like they do in the US (the caller, a New Zealand native, said for hunting and such).

Absolutely heart broken for New Zealand. Such a peaceful country. So unprecedented that something like that could happen there. Sending so much love from your Aussie neighbours x

idk what to feel/think/say anymore. the last few months I was constantly watching alt-right/neo-nazi/white suprematist videos, been on a kkk forum and searching for documentaties about the issue. they always present themselves as non-violent, non-hatelful and more as "seperationist" and family and nation protecting men. I was starting to ask myself, are they really harmful, these little numbers of marginalized lunatics, can they actually do anything other than bitching about jews and glorifying the west? this incident brought me back to reality, and I'm literally shaking, words and ideas do matter and not all speech is worthy of being given a platform. right-wingers (not alt-right) that might seem harmless do have white supremacists tendencies that pass under the radar, that might not be intentional and  end up championing and encouraging extremists to commit such horrible acts and act on their eff-ed up belief system.  I don't usually speak up about antifa, but I would understand why they try to silence these hateful voices and might wanna punch nazies sometimes. I would gladly punch the sh-t out of this/these shooter/s had I known the hate they spewed online.

Them acting family friendly and coming off like they could not bring themselves to harm others is a cover up. They do it to make themselves look better. I don't remember the full reasoning, but this is why the kkk and neo-nazis cannot be disbanded in the US. It is really sad, because they should be.

My husband watched video, as they are covering the story today. (He works in news.) He said it was awful and looked like Call of Duty in real life.
